Giving ELICOS students a voice through quality assurance

Ms Ana Bratkovic1

1NEAS, North Sydney, Australia

Students deserve the best quality educational experience that they can get including the support services to ensure they achieve their goals. Through NEAS’ unique stakeholder driven feedback model of quality assurance, students have a voice in focus groups and an anonymous survey to share their educational experience with English Language providers across Australia as well as overseas. This feedback helps centres measure what they do well and identify areas where they need to do better. And the best voices that centres can listen to are the voices of their students. This session will illustrate how NEAS provides a channel for student voices and will showcase the outcomes of this channel, including examples of best practice in student support.
